Present.Me combines all the necessary elements to allow users to build effective presentations. Rather than simply creating a slide show, or hosting a webinar, the user can combine elements from each of these presentations and put them into their Present Me production. The application allows users to record themselves giving the presentation alongside slideshows to help illustrate their points. The user’s presentation can be shared online and can eliminate the need to travel to client or partner’s location. Each Present Me presentation includes a title, author name and overview as well as a comments area, ratings and likes. The user can also share and embed Present Me presentations to easily pass them along to others. When creating a Present Me presentation, the user can also keep their original slide builds so nothing is lost when the video is compiled.

Present.Me was created in 2011 to provide users with a better way to present information. The application was designed to be versatile enough to work in professional and non-professional environments. The concept was encouraged by presentation related statistics, which noted that 500 million Power Point users give around 30 million presentations each working day.

There are a number of applications that allow users to create a presentation or slide show. However Present Me is the only one so far that actually allows users to do both at once. The application plays both the user’s video and the slide show so they correspond and provide all the information that needs to be conveyed.

Present.Me uses a very clean, stylish design that is highlighted by the overlapping green and blue chat squares that make up the application’s logo. The presentation pages include the video and slideshow side by side at the top of the page with tabs to access the video’s ratings, likes, overview and other information. Colorful buttons right on the video viewing page allow users to embed the video, share it, vote on it, like it or perform other activities.

A visitor can get started with Present Me by clicking the green and white “See Plans and Pricing” button along the right hand side of the homepage. The user can click the green “Sign Up” button that corresponds with their desired membership plan. After doing so, the user is taken to the registration form which requires a first and last name, email address, company name, username and password. The user is not required to enter credit card information for paid memberships until their 30 day free trial has ended.

Present Me currently offers two membership plans with a third coming soon. The first is a free basic account that allows 15 minute record lengths, up to 10 recordings per month and a 50 MB upload limit. The Plus plan costs just under $30 per month and upgrades to include 90 minute record lengths, up to 30 recordings per month, privacy features, 200 MB upload limit and no advertisements. The Max Account will be available soon and will include unlimited monthly recordings as well as builds and animations for around $100 per month.

Present.Me is a great tool for anyone who needs to put together an effective presentation. The application enables users to combine slide shows with videos to produce a well-rounded finished video.
